INDIVIDUAL FALES (BUNGALOWS) and VILLAS:

COCONUTS offers three types of individual fales or villas: the only Over-the-Water Fales in Samoa, Beach Fales, and the Royal Beach Villas. Royal Beach Villas : Conde Nast Traveler said that Coconuts had "the most delightful rooms in Samoa" and we are proud to announce that our newest accommodations  - The Royal Beach Villas - are no exception. These are the most spacious suite of villas available in all of Samoa, if not the entire South Pacific:  this complex of three villas is comprised of two one-storey beach villas (Villa Pule and Villa Ali’I) flanking an immense, two-storey central villa (Villa Matai).  The two flanking villas each total over 600 sq. ft, including bedroom, sitting room, walk-in closet, writing alcove and large open-air style bathroom, complete with lava rock "waterfall" shower.  The central fale is more than twice as spacious, and includes these same features as well as a second storey Observatory and balcony, accessed via a circular staircase, which can also serve as additional sleeping quarters. HOTEL SUITES & ROOMS: 

COCONUTS offers one type of suite and one type of hotel room. Use of kayaks, mountain bikes and snorkeling gear is complimentary with these two types of accommodations.

GARDEN SUITES: These suites are ideal for a couple seeking outstanding space and amenities, or for two couples or a family traveling together. Each spacious two room, two bath Garden Suite is comprised of a full-size bedroom with a king size-bed, and a full-size sitting room with convertible sleeping for one or two additional adults.

Large, folding louver doors between the two rooms can be opened to create a spacious feeling if the suite is being used by just one or two people, or these doors can be closed to provide the privacy of two rooms if three or four people are occupying the Suite.

Each bedroom and sitting room has its own ensuite “open air ” bathroom (two full bathrooms!) featuring Coconuts’ original, famous sunken tub with lava rock “waterfall” shower.

All Suites have their own, individual slate covered terrace area, with an area for sunning and an area with a translucent cover for rain and sun protection. Beautiful teak and bamboo furniture and local materials compliment the extensive lava rock walls, creating a distinctive, Polynesian atmosphere.

INTERNET SPECIAL: MIKA’S OLD APARTMENT 

In amongst the Staff Housing, overlooking the picturesque parking lot with its attendant noise sits this accommodation unit that was once the home of Mika and Julia. Mika and Julia have moved on (about 20 yards to the west) and this accommodation has been pretty much unused for the past year – other than for an hour here or there. The amenities aren’t too bad. It's got a bedroom area, sitting room area, and a small bathroom with shower. It comes with a mini-fridge, a/c, hot water, and coffee/tea facilities, and it can sleep up to three in one queen size bed and one fold-out sofa bed.

But, you have to understand that it is definitely OUR WORST ACCOMMODATION and not up to Coconuts’ standards. I guess the best part of the deal is that it is CHEAP and adjacent to the apartment of Ned, our General Manager. So, if you want to complain about the accommodation, you don’t have far to go. By the way, Ned has been known to play loud music, whistle, sing in the shower, dance around, and otherwise misbehave in his room.

It is priced at US$60 per night for one or two people – adults only. A third person brings the rate up to $85 per night. Promotional rates and discounts don't apply to this already special rate. Please note that you can not book this accommodation through a Travel Agent. We would be too embarrassed to have a Travel Agent know that we are selling this room. It is only available by a direct email or fax booking, and you have to clearly say that you want to book Mika’s Old Apartment. No matter what, remember – we warned you!
