Hello Paul,

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Coconuts four and a half years ago....can you please keep us abreast of developments at the resort?
Also, please keep us up to date about what we can do with regard to recovery needs for the island.
I teach online marketing & entrepreneurship classes at the University of Alaska; my wife is an executive and personal coach.
We'd be happy to travel to the island if that is necessary to help with recovery efforts.

Kind regards,
R. & B. S. W.

Dear Jennifer, Barry, and staff---
I was fortunate to stay at Coconuts in 1993 as the soundman on Alicia
Ulrich's video project, when your resort paradise was in it's infancy.
The damage to the resort
broadcast on the BBC looked extensive but I hope that all of you are ok. Please update your webpage as often as you can.

Best Wishes,
D. N.

As a former guest there 10 years ago to surf ahead ahead of the surf camps, I was heart broken to learn of the recent tragedy. My wife and another couple spent two of the most memorable weeks of our live's at your resort, and the bueaty of Samoa has never been forgotten. Having traveled to close to 30 other countrie's, Samoa is still truely the most bueatiful place in the world in our view, and will be again...................
Not that it is any consulation, but we as a coastal motel owners off the coast of N.C. experienced the very same experience in 2003 when hurricane Isabel slammed our litttle village of Hatteras with a 23 foot storm surge. It all seemed so surreal for weeks going on months as our little village picked up the pieces....but we did.....as you will. In our case our 45 room motel was relagted to 15 salvageble rooms...which when considering our age...was a blessing in disquise....... You will overcome....and we will be back.... if not this year then next.

Take care and keep your chin up.

Hi. I stayed at Coconuts Beach Resort while filming for a documentary called Skin Stories. We got to know the Coconuts folks, and also a few families in Siumu. I would like to be of assistance in the
recovery. Do you need any extra hands to clean, re-build etc in the next few weeks or months? If so, please let me know. Also, I can send monetary donations if I could be sure it would go to the people in Siumu.

Thanks for any information you can provide.
Aloha ... L. A.

Afternoon Barry, Jennifer, Ned, Mika and rest of Staff;

Upon hearing the tragic news of what transpired to our beautiful paradise in Samoa (Coconuts Beach Club), our first concern was the staff of Coconuts (which we have come to know as family). I immediately tried to phone there and had no success but have been following your posted updates.

We are so sadden with all that has happended and we would love to express to all of you our heartfelt sorrow. Both Judy and I are Coconuts and have had the opportunity to stay at Coconuts Beach Club to celebrate our 25th. Anniversary. During this time period we had gotten to know all the friendly staff as well as the neighbouring village people and fell in love immediately with paradise.

We know that you will bounce back soon and look forward to returning there in the near future. Judy and I will keep checking for more updates and send our love and again our sadness to all the staff of Coconuts Beach Club.

Two Coconuts from Canada,
G. and J. M.

P.S. Everytime we watch the movie Return To Paradise, our thoughts and memories go back to Samoa.
